3. How Our Tools Work

• All document processing runs client-side in your browser.
• No login or account creation is ever required.
• After you close the tab, only what you downloaded remains on your device.
• Some tools (Notes, Calc, CV Builder) use your browser's local storage to preserve your work between sessions — this data never leaves your device.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We only use browser local storage to save your work within a tool (e.g., unsaved notes or CV drafts). You can clear this at any time in your browser settings. We also use cookies as described in Section 5 below in connection with advertising.

5. Advertising & Third-Party Services

BasicOffice.co.uk is free to use and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display adverts on this site. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to show you relevant adverts based on your interests, including visits to other websites.
